Jewelry Guide

In my YouTube videos and on my blog, you may notice that I link the same jewelry over and over again. On occasion, I will wear something different, but a lot of the time it's the same pieces. Two years ago I made a post about what my top 5 jewelry favorites were, which you can read here, but I thought that I would also make a post on what I think are the absolute essentials when it comes to jewelry.

1) A Dainty Necklace

Every girl needs a dainty necklace, whether it's cheap or expensive, a dainty necklace is perfect for layering and for everyday wear. My personal favorite is from Tiffany & Co. I got this for Christmas sophomore year of high school from my dad. He gave my sister and I matching ones because he said that the two interlocking circles represented her and I, which I absolutely love! I also love that this necklace is super unique.

2) A Watch

You may not be a watch person, but everyone needs a watch. I have had the same one since 8th grade and I am still in love with it. The great things about watches is you can layer a bunch of bracelets with it or you can just leave it by itself. I know that somewhere down the line I want a more "high end" watch, but this Michael Kors watch will always hold a special place in my heart!

3) Pearl Earrings

If you are to get one pair of stud earrings, get pearl earrings! You do not have to get real ones, but just get a pair. They will never go out of style and they will go with everything. My pair is from Tiffany & Co and they never leave my ears. Even if I am going to class at looking like a hot mess, I still feel a bit more put together when I am wearing these.

4) One Ring

Every person needs one ring in their life and no I do not mean an engagement ring! You just need a ring that you can wear everyday that reflects you. I have two that I wear everyday, one is more understated and I have had it since 7th grade. It's from James Avery and I love that it has a cross on it so Jesus is always with me! My other one is from David Yurman (the one linked is similar, they don't have mine anymore :( ) and I got it for my 16th birthday. I love how glamourous it is without being too overpowering. I never take these off either and rings once again just add a little something to your outfit regardless of what you're wearing.

5) Cuff/Link Bracelet

I honestly couldn't pick between the two of these on which one I think you need more. I absolutely love my David Yurman cable bracelets and I absolutely love my Tiffany & Co link bracelet. Both of these are absolute classics and look beautiful on their own or stacked up with other things. You need one or the other or both if you're feeling like a crazy cat!!

I hope that you guys enjoyed this post and learning about what I find to be essentials! Let me know what your jewelry essentials are by tweeting me @AbbeyFHagan
