Everyone knows by now that the Kylie Cosmetics lip kits have been the most sought after lip products in the industry for some time now. These lip kits are also very controversial because some say that they are amazing and some say that they are awful. I got my hands on them a couple weeks ago and feel that I have used them enough to be able to give you guys my honest opinion of them.
I do have to say that when I ordered them I didn't have too much trouble ordering them because Kylie has been doing bigger restocks lately. Even now I just checked and she still has a ton of her products left on the site so if you want them, get them now!
I got the shades KoKo K and Mary Jo K. KoKo K is described as a pale, pinky nude and Mary Jo K is described as a true, blue red.
KoKo K is the first one that I tried and I actually wore it in my Summer Haul. When I first applied it I was shocked at how fast it dried. I didn't notice any flaking or it looking too dry. It was honestly on like glue, but then after I ate I didn't like how it looked. It completely took off the liquid lip and I was just left with the liner. I honestly haven't tried too many liquid lipsticks so I don't know what to compare it to, but I wasn't in love with how it looked after eating, but I did reapply it and it was fine.
Mary Jo K I wore for the first time on the 4th of July (because duh) and I LOVED this one! It really was the perfect blue based red. This one lasted a super long time even through snacking and drinking. I have heard however that the Kylie lip kits vary on quality depending on the shades. What I loved about this specific shade of red was how blue based it was, meaning it will make your teeth look so white!
All in all I really do like these and I think that the packaging is amazing, the quality is overall an 8/10 and I would recommend that you guys try these out. I recommend them because I think that these are super fun to collect, they are overall good quality and they will be cool to look back on to think that you got a lipstick that everyone wanted. That is just my personal opinion but let me know if you guys have tried these and what your opinion is! Also, these products smell like straight up birthday cake and are not tested on animals! All of the shades are vegan except for Candy K (which I think is weird).
I hope that you guys enjoyed this review and that you found it helpful in some way!
xoxo,
Abbey
