Dallas Do's

If you guys have been following me for the last year or so then you would know that I moved to Dallas, TX this past summer! I am originally from Austin and go to school in Alabama, but now when I come home for breaks it is to Dallas!
I have already created "do's" for Austin & Tuscaloosa, which you can read here and here :) I figured that it was time to introduce you guys to my new city and my favorite things to do here!

These three hotels are all fantastic and are all in different parts of town. Any of these three would be great!

Hilton Anatole
Hilton Park Cities
Four Seasons Las Colinas

Also, I have never stayed at The Joule, but I hear it is amazing so you should check that one out too!

E A T

Taverna: If you are an Italian lover like me, then you HAVE to go here. They have a couple locations throughout Texas, but the Taverna on Knox St here in Dallas is my favorite. It is a great location and they seriously have the most amazing carbonara!

Hillstone: Once again, this is in a fantastic area and is just a go - to for my mom and I. Their ahi tuna salad just cannot be beat. If you follow my food Instagram @abbeys_appetite, then you would know I eat here a little too much. I also recommend the artichoke heart, it is to die for!

Via Real: Hands down the best Mexican food I have had in my entire life. I could drink their salsa...who am I kidding? I practically do! I cannot live without their chicken fajitas. This is always my first "out to eat" place that I go when I come home. It is just my favorite.

Café Pacific: This is located in one of my favorite places in town [Highland Park Village] and it is delicious! If you love seafood and/or oysters, you have to go here! It is beautiful and equally delicious.

Sprinkles Ice Cream: Sprinkles has definitely expanded over the last few years so they are in more cities, however not all of their locations have the ice cream! The Sprinkles in Dallas does and let me just tell is amazing. You can get ice cream with cupcake crumbles on the bottom and the top of the cupcake on top. I mean, who wouldn't want that? This is such a fun treat & is delicious.

If you are a girly girl like me then you have no choice but to go to Northpark and Highland Park Village. Northpark is my favorite mall in the entire world. They have everything from Cartier to H&M. It is such a fun mall and there is tons of exploring to do in there.

Highland Park Village is seriously the most Gossip Girl esque part of Dallas. They have all high end stores and great restaurants. Very Instagram worthy too!

Now I myself have not been here, but I hear that the George Bush library at SMU is great. Going to a Presidential library in general is really cool. Speaking of Presidents, going to the Sixth Floor Museum is very interesting since it was where Kennedy was shot.

I hope that you guys liked this little Dallas Do's guide! If you guys want to see where all I am going in Dallas, make sure to follow me on Instagram @missabbeyhagan.

Thanks for reading!
