April Record

In April I became pretty obsessed with the blogger Amy Beth Campbell and I noticed that she shares these monthly lists that have purchases she has made and purchases she wants to make. I totally copied her with this idea because I thought it would be fun to share a monthly recap of what I found and what I want to buy! I'm going to call this my monthly records as I would love to look back on these to see a "record" of what I wanted/bought.

I have been wanting a pair of Supergas for a few months now as I feel like they will be perfect in Italy this summer. I was scrolling through ASOS one night and found these little white tennis shoes that I actually like more than the supergas. They also happen to be a fraction of the cost which is such a bonus. I always get scared to order shoes online, but I pulled the trigger and ordered these. Fingers crossed they fit!

Let me start by saying that these hoops are literally sold out everywhere. I ended up getting the very last pair between Madewell, Shopbop and Nordstrom #winning. These are perfect for summer and are super lightweight! I also love the finish of them as they aren't too shiny of a gold, but more of a flat gold, which I love.

I'm pretty sure I saw this dress from an ad on Instagram and instantly fell in love with it. It's a little bit on the pricey side but I think it will be perfect for summer and will even look cute with the ASOS sneakers. I love the look of dresses for summer and this one is no exception. This site also has dozens of other dresses that I love!

This oil bottle is something else that I stole from Amy Beth. She had two of these oil bottles, one with olive oil and one with balsamic on a white tray in her kitchen. She also had a marble bowl in the middle for her salt and I loved the way it looked so I had to recreate it. I love the way it looks in my kitchen and how it styles something that is used everyday.
I actually put a picture of the way it turned out on my Insta story and tagged Amy Beth and she messaged me thanking me for tagging her. We messaged back and forth a couple times and she is just as sweet as she seems she would be.

This neckline is really trendy right now and I can't wait to get my hands on this bodysuit so that I can participate in the trend! I think that this bodysuit would be perfect styled with the Madewell jeans that are below, the ASOS sneakers and lots of layered necklaces.

These jeans have literally changed the game for me! They are so soft and fit like an absolute glove. I can't recommend these jeans enough as I feel like they will fit any body type and can be dressed up or down. You can see how I styled them here.

This is another dress that I think would be so perfect for summer. I love that it is still neutral but the polka dots make it fun and add something unexpected. Once again this would be perfect with the ASOS tennis shoes. I also think that dresses and little white tennis shoes are going to be on repeat for me this summer - Olivia Jade rocks it so I should too. Right?

8) Ann Taylor Wide Leopard Print Haircalf Belt

I think leopard/cheetah is definitely counted as a neutral since you can wear it with both black and brown. I ordered a cheetah belt form Topshop that ended up totally falling apart after a few wears so I had to return it.
This belt, since recommended by my girl Katey McFarlan, will probably hold up perfectly. What's also great is that this is pretty much consistently on sale for 40% off online. I need to order this ASAP.

9) Free People Days of Being Wild Tank

I absolutely love this tank! I can totally see this top paired with white jeans, the leopard belt and strappy sandals. I love that it's open in the back so it adds a flirty touch. I also love that the front is equally as cute so if you needed to throw on a denim jacket to keep you warm, it wouldn't cover up the focal point of the shirt, since every part of it is cute.

I hope that you guys liked my first "record" post, I will definitely be doing one again come May!
Thank you guys so much for stopping by and reading, be sure to check back next Monday for a new post.

Love from Dixie,

Abbey
