There is something about hoop earrings and a neck scarf that scream 70s to me. Its a fun trend that I've been loving to play around with, so I thought today it would be fun to share how I put my own spin on it.

You guys should know by now that jeans and t-shirts are my love language. I love that pairing jeans and t-shirts can be so casual or if paired with the right things, dressy. This look would be perfect for grabbing margaritas with the girls on a summer night or for going out to lunch with your boyfriend.
I wore my beloved Madewell jeans that you guys for real need to get your hands on! I need to stop talking about them because its getting to be a bit repetitive. All in all, you need these jeans.
I also wore one of my all time favorite white tees from Free People with this look. I love that it has a cutout on the shoulder and different holes throughout it so it gives a basic white t-shirt an unexpected twist.
As far as accessories go, I wore a couple new additions to my closet in this look. I love love love leopard and have since I was a little girl. I love that it's a print so it's funky but it's also neutral so can be worn with a bunch of different things. I got this leopard bandana on sale from J.Crew a couple weeks ago for $8!
I also wore these hoops from Madewell that complete the 70s look in my opinion. I love how fun they are and how different they are than any other earring I have. They are also practically weightless which is a huge bonus.
For a bag, whenever I wear something that isn't black I always love to break out my Louis Vuitton Neverfull. This bag is so versatile and I know I'll have it for the rest of my life. It also makes me happy whenever I look at it because I know I bought it with my hard earned money!
I hope that you guys liked this look and that you give the neck scarf/70s trend in general a try! I think it is super fun.
Thank you so much for spending time with me today, make sure to check back next Monday for a new post!
Love from Dixie,
Abbey
