Also, this Free People shirt is one of my favorite items in my closet. I think that it is incredibly beautiful and so flattering. I do not get to wear it that often considering how much of a statement piece it is, but when I do, you best believe I feel like a million bucks!
I make resolutions every year, but for some reason this year just feels different. I do not know if its because I really feel like 2017 is going to be 'my year' in so many different aspects or if I feel jus more motivated to stick to these than I have in the past.
Resolution # 1: God
I hate that I have to make this one of my new years resolutions, but I am just being honest. I have completely dropped the ball this past year as far as having quiet time with God and reading my devotionals / bible is concerned. I always feel so much better when I am having that daily time, so let me know if once I get into a routine, if you guys would like to know what I do / what I am reading to help you guys out!
Resolution # 2: Mind, Body, Soul
I know that everyone pretty much says 'eat better' or 'exercise' as one of their resolutions, but I just overall want to be healthier. I want to clean out my mind of the unnecessary things that bother me and feed my body with not only healthy foods, but treat it the way I should by keeping it in shape. I also just want my soul to be clean and pure [not that it isn't now haha] but I just want to let unnecessary things go. Out with the negative energy, in will alllllll the good energy.
Resolution # 3: YouTube & Blogging
I feel like I have been given a platform to be able to interact with incredible people as well as work with incredible companies. I get to talk about the things I am passionate about and do something that I love, but yet year after year, I never dedicate the time and the effort that I should dedicate to it. I feel like 2017 is going to be my year to 'prove myself' to the YouTube community and make it exactly how I want it to be.
I also want to make blogging more of a priority, because last year I started loving reading blogs so much that it inspired me to put more of an effort with mine. I want to make blogging a part of weekly 'routine'. I also want to get better about utilizing social media to reach different people and connect with others.
Resolution # 4: School
This past semester I made the deans list * insert party hat emoji here * and I think that that was the push I needed to be able to know that I was capable of that. I have always been smart and good at school when I really applied myself, but somethings in school just do not come naturally to me and this last semester I had to work at that.
I would love to be able to make the deans list again, so we will just see what happens. Now I know that I can do it!
I would love to know what your New Years resolutions are, so let me know by tweeting me @AbbeyFHagan. Heres to an amazing 2017!
xoxo,
