My Favorite Instagram Accounts

Let me start off by saying WOW have I missed writing these posts. I had to take a little bit of a hiatus these last couple of months because of how busy my amazing internship kept me. With that being said, I am now settled into my apartment and am ready to start blogging and filming again! Who is excited?! I thought my first post back should be on a fun topic, so why not talk about my favorite Instagram accounts?

We all know by now that bloggers are very popular on Instagram. From the outfits posts, to the creative overlays - I love it all. Needless to say, I creepily save so many pictures [the Instagram save option is one of the best things to ever happen to me no joke]. So I thought today would be the perfect day to share!

1) Katey McFarlan

You guys know by now that she is my favorite blogger ever. Her Instagram aesthetic is so pretty & clean and her outfit posts never get old. I don't know how she comes up with new poses and angles all the time! I also love her candid family photos that she posts.

Favs Under $50 #2

Today I thought that I would do another "Favs Under $50" post because I really enjoyed writing my last one. If you aren't familiar with this little series I have started, then it is just me sharing my current favorite things that are under $50!

Dallas Do's

If you guys have been following me for the last year or so then you would know that I moved to Dallas, TX this past summer! I am originally from Austin and go to school in Alabama, but now when I come home for breaks it is to Dallas!

The Perfect Travel Outfit

This weekend I am going to Washington D.C. for Easter and I couldn't be more excited! My mom and I went for Easter last year since my sister goes to school in D.C. and honestly, having an excuse to visit one of the most amazing cities is something that is so fun for my mom and I. If you have never been to D.C. you have to go! Everything from the monuments (obviously) to the amazing food and the great stores, it is definitely a place to see. 

At Home Salon Manicure

I don't know know about you guys, but I absolutely hate paying for manicures. Pedicures are something that I do not have a problem paying for, but manicures just get to me just because I feel like I can do the same thing at home. Over the course of the last couple months it has been my mission to master the art of a manicure and with the help of a few products, I think I have accomplished it.

Designer Dupes

I will be the first person to admit that I have expensive taste. As Katey McFarlan once wrote "Jesus just made me expensive" and that's honestly how I feel! I will also admit that I would so much rather just not have a designer item than have a fake designer item, simply because that I know one day I will have worked hard enough to be able to buy the actual thing and that moment will be sooo worth it. 

With all of that being said, sometimes there are designer items that I would never want to pay the price for just because they don't seem that worth it to me, which is why this blogpost idea popped into my head. I have rounded up the best designer dupes that I could find and I cannot wait to share them with you! 

B-Low the Belt Bri Bri Belt vs ASOS Dupe

I personally have a Forever 21 dupe for this belt and I absolutely love it! I just could never imagine spending the $148 for the actual thing simply because I do not wear belts nearly enough to spend that kind of money on it. So if you are like me and love the style of the B-Low the Belt Bri Bri belt but not the price tag, look into buying the $22 ASOS version.

Birthday Wishlist

I have always gotten a great response from my "wishlist" posts, so today I thought that I would mix things up a bit by sharing what I want for my upcoming 20th [what?!] birthday.

Transitioning to Spring

You all know by now that I am not a fan of color, so the spring/summertime can be a bit difficult for me because I don't want to abandon my favorite neutral - black. In todays post I thought I would share with you how to transition your dark pieces into spring appropriate outfits!

You guys know by now [or at least should] know that there is nothing I love more then wearing all black. In the spring/summer however you can look a bit out of place if you wear the combo. By pairing your dark pieces with a light wash pair of jeans and nude sandals, you will be transition ready!
