Ciao for Now Milano

This Milan update is very much delayed considering I've been back in the US for almost 3 weeks now, but to be honest every time I sat down to write this post I always got really sad. Tears would fill my eyes as I would try to think of the proper way to say goodbye to my favorite place.

I have now come to terms with the fact that I am back in the United States and back in Tuscaloosa for my senior year (what?!) of college. Not gonna lie...the first couple days back in Tuscaloosa were hard. I had the distraction of being at my sorority all day but then once I was home it sunk in that I wasn't in the city that made me the happiest I've ever been anymore and I would be lying if I said that nights weren't filled with many, many tears.

If you've read my last two posts (which you can read here and here) you would know just how happy my time abroad made me. I truly feel like I was the best version of myself there and I miss it every single day. However, with that being said, it makes me want to work really hard to hopefully return abroad after graduation. Yes, you read that right - I am dying to go back to working abroad!

Now to get you caught up on all that happened after my Life in Milan #2 update...

After my sister left, I finished my last week at work. Once again, words can't describe how much I loved my time working at Spazio38. The people that I met and the experiences I got to have are some that I will cherish forever. I mean who wouldn't love to be surrounded by beautiful clothes all day and work with amazing people?! I truly felt so lucky to be there.

The weekend after I finished up at Spazio38, my friend Hayley and I ventured off to Verona and Venice. If you are interested in watching my vlogs from that weekend, you can here and here.

Verona was incredibly beautiful and surpassed any expectations I had. It is a city that is pretty underrated in my opinion, as I never really heard anyone say "you HAVE to go to Verona". It wasn't too far of a train ride from Milan, which is why Hayley and I decided to stop there for the night on our way to Venice.
